MONCLER GAMME BLEU
SPRING-SUMMER 2016

Moncler Gamme Bleu reflects the synergy of Moncler’s expertise in active sportswear and outerwear with the hand-made tailoring sensibility of Thom Browne. For Spring-Summer 2016, the concept centers around the sport of Rowing.

The rowing team uniforms have inspired the collection, presented in four color groups: Grey and white stripe, red, white and blue stripe, green, yellow and pink stripe and black-tie, formal group. The quintessentially Thom Browne classically tailored pieces such as sport coats, Chesterfield coats, trench coats, anoraks, cardigans, polo shirts, trousers and shorts with details such as needling punching, embroideries, sequins, seam tape and grosgrain trimmings are worn over the rowing bodysuit.

Fabrics and detailing: Stone washed cotton, stripe cotton gabardine, cotton seersucker, and jacquards in cotton and silk, lightweight summer wool, Oxford cloth, cotton jersey, lightweight cashmere as well as technical fabrics, light Cordura, nylon Ripstop, some with star embroidery and other detailing in red/white/blue.

Accessories: black washed leather boat shoes with white rubber sole, and white seersucker fisherman hat, knit striped ties.
